HACOY stands for happiness, comfort and joy.
We believe the world is loud, fast and full of noise, and that clothing should not add to it. It should take some of it away. So we design pieces that feel effortless, calm and quietly strong, and we build a wardrobe that works as a whole rather than following seasonal trends.
We choose our fibres for how they feel on the skin: linen, silk and cotton, and cupro and bamboo viscose, which are both made from plant cellulose. Where a piece has to stretch and keep its shape, as in swimwear and sportswear, we add elastane or polyamide.
Our pieces are designed in Rome and Munich and made in Italy and Lithuania.
HACOY is designed for calm, because we believe the future belongs to those who can stay soft in a hard world.

What goes into a piece?
For us, luxury means the whole making of a piece, not only the finished cloth: the fibre, the hands that cut and sew it, and the way it travels to you.
That is why we name where our pieces are made and, wherever a record proves it, where their fibres come from.
Slow fashion equals slow wear.
Who makes our pieces?
Our linen Workwear is cut and sewn in Vilnius, Lithuania. Our swimwear, sportswear, silk essentials and cupro pyjamas are made by a family owned atelier near Ferrara, Italy.
We want to know the people behind every piece, and we keep looking for better ways to work together.
Will you wear it every season?
Clothes should not follow a season. We design for a versatile life and a timeless look, so that a piece fits many situations and many phases of a life.
