HACOY Introduces Its First Denim, Made in Italy and Available Only on Pre-Order
Munich, 8 July 2026
HACOY, the Munich slow luxury house, introduces its first denim: a jeans and a jacket, both unisex, cut from a blend of organic cotton and hemp in dark blue and grey and made in Italy. The pieces were photographed in the streets of Milan, among columns, bistros and the everyday movement of the city. From 18 July 2026 they are available only on pre-order, offered exclusively through the HACOY online shop.
A fabric of organic cotton and hemp
The heart of the collection is the cloth itself, roughly two thirds organic cotton and one third hemp. The organic cotton gives a soft, easy comfort against the skin, while the hemp makes the fabric unusually hard wearing. Made in Italy, it wears light and airy through the day, holds its shape over years, and grows a little softer and better with each wearing. It is a denim built to be kept and worn often, rather than replaced. The colour was chosen with the same patience, two quiet tones that sit easily with the rest of a wardrobe.
A considered, resource conscious choice
Organic cotton and hemp ask for less water and fewer chemicals, and both are remarkably durable. Hemp grows quickly and even improves the soil it grows in, which is part of why HACOY chose it for a first denim. The result is a cloth that pairs real quality with a lighter footprint, without reaching for grand claims or easy labels. It is a small, deliberate step, and one the house is glad to take slowly and properly.
Only what is truly wanted
To avoid overproduction, the collection is offered on pre-order alone. HACOY makes only what is asked for, so nothing is cut to sit unsold in a warehouse. This is the quiet logic of slow fashion: fewer pieces, made with more care, and valued more for it. It also gives each order its own small sense of anticipation, a garment waited for rather than grabbed. Prices are shared when pre-order opens.
Timeless design, unmistakably HACOY
In its design the collection stays true to the house. The pieces are kept timeless and carry the signature two-tone accents in light and dark that make a HACOY garment easy to recognise across a room. They are made to move between seasons and between years, rather than to belong to a single moment. A jeans and a jacket, considered as carefully as everything else the house makes.
Pre-order opens on 18 July 2026 at HACOY.store. For press enquiries, imagery or samples, the contact is partnerships@HACOY.com.
