The Gravity Dilemma

Once folded, knitwear should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Acid-free tissue paper can be used to fill out any empty spaces within the folds, helping to maintain the garment’s structure and preventing creases.

For added protection, consider using breathable fabric covers or storage boxes designed for textiles. These solutions not only safeguard against moths but also provide an extra layer of defence against dust and light. The choice between hanging and folding depends on the specific garment; heavier items are best folded to avoid stretching, while lighter pieces can often be hung.
